So today I was going on YouTube because I wanted to hear this song and I don’t have it on my IPOD so i wanted to hear it there. Usually when I go on YouTube I ignore all the things like recommended for you or most poplar videos, But today this video got my attention. It is a video of this girl who was showing her viewers new clothes she bought. I understand that some girls do YouTube videos to show other girls how to wear clothes. Not this girl she wasnt showing you the best way to wear it. She showed about 25 plus items of clothing. She told us why she liked them and where she bought them. A lot of it was from forever 21 I wonder if the store gives her money because this is great advertising.
This video is 3 days old and it has been viewed 200,718 times. So it’s really popular. This video goes on for 11 min and 41 second. I can’t belive people would watch this for that long! She also has other Videos uploaded about make-up, and hair, but those do show you how to do it. I would think all the people who subscribe to her account were teenage girls, but she has 134,780 Subscribers, and they range from men to women of all ages. There is a lot of other girls who have YouTube accounts like her, this girl looks hispanic and she has long black hair, and she is pretty. I think a lot of YouTube-ers’ just want to become famous and they try to make it famous by YouTube. It has happened, but not to everyone. Oh, and she also has give aways. She gives away make up and she gave away a Coach purse, so that is also a way she gets people to view her videos. The saw one advertisement on the bottom of the video as it was playing of “blue fly” which is a store. There add says “shop today and get $40 off” then it says some of the name brands, and these are really expensive upscale brands like Prada, and Gucci. They advertise them on her YouTube channel because YouTube knows people are watching this shopping video. I think having and making YouTube videos is good as a hobbie, but don’t put your hopes up that you’ll become famous off of it.
